Clyde lives in Lyall Bay, Wellington, with two kids and a
  particularly handsome rabbit. For several years he has
  been focused on oil painting, after previously working with
  a range of media and developing a self-made style.
   Clyde's paintings concern ideas, they are more often
  collections of impressions rather than literal translations,
  and are designed to create a sense of calm, to stimulate,
  and to reveal concepts over an extended viewing period.

 He is a professional musician and teacher, so, as one might expect, rhythm, harmony and melodic flow are important factors in his interpretation of visual media.

 Clyde has known the author for 10 years.
